In this campaign for the vote at 16, a petition is EVERYTHING. It helps rally supporters and to show evidence that people want the change, they SUPPORT the change that should be made. Sixteen seems like it is too young to start a family or join the army, but if the government thinks you're old enough to do both of those things, then I certainly think a 16 year old should be able to vote also. In a related note, how old do you have to be to drink? 18?
